Sylvain Longchambon is a successful French ice dancer and personal trainer. He began ice skating when he was seven years old, when he was taken to an ice rink for the first time by his mum and brother. In 1989, just two years later, he was already competing. From medalling at International skating competitions, to starring on the national television series Dancing on Ice, and setting up his own personal training company – he’s a man with passion and perfection at the heart of everything he does.
Sylvain enjoyed a prolific ice dancing career with his partner – together they won two silver medals in the ISU Junior Grand Prix series in 1999-2000, a bronze in the senior-level Ondrej Nepela Memorial, and another in the 2002 French Figure Skating Championships.
In 2004, Sylvain set up his own personal training company following on from his dedication to working out, both in and out of the gym, throughout his glittering career. He’s been professionally qualified as a trainer for over a decade, and is an ambassador for Europe’s leading sports nutrition brand, Myprotein.
Sylvain’s talent on the rink came to the screen in 2006 with the Spanish version of Dancing on Ice and later to the UK in 2011, when he first became a star of the hit ITV show.
